Okay. I know if you don’t live in or near Victoria you may think that all of Canada is one big, wintry wonderland. Well, this is not the case. Here in Victoria we have very mild weather. We have pleasantly warm summers and mild winters with usually little to no snow. Believe it or not we have a northern Mediterranean climate. Contrary to popular belief, Victoria is NOT a rain forest (we get about 1/2 the annual precipitation of Vancouver – thanks, rain shadow effect).
It is now March 9. Usually we are starting to have beautiful, sunny weather. THIS is what I woke up to this morning.
I DON'T want this blog to be a daily weather report of Victoria. I just can’t help it. Thanks a bunch GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!
I DO want this blog to be a daily ART report. So. Here is another painting that I created using mainly a palette knife and a squirt bottle. I painted this last year and I was just having fun trying different techniques. Sean likes this one. I’m not sure.
I haven’t had much time for painting the past few days. I have been doing some work from
home and that
sucks the creativity out of me takes time away from
soon: I do have a few paintings on deck that I can’t wait to get back to. Fruit. Fruit. & maybe a vegetable.
